Shine
without the
excess
Queen Marcasite began with a simple observation: jewellery is split between gold, which is expensive, and costume pieces, which don't last a season. Between the two, almost nothing. Marcasite fills that gap: the light of a cut stone, on 925 silver, at a price stated plainly. We gather these pieces one by one and put them online exactly as they are.
Marcasite is a facet-cut pyrite, set on silver since the 18th century as an alternative to diamond. It has the shine of polished steel, a tone that shifts from smoked grey to cold gold depending on the light. It does not tarnish as long as it stays dry, away from perfume and water. A single piece holds dozens of stones, sometimes more than a hundred, set one by one.
The price shown is the price paid: no permanent discount, no fake crossed-out price, no hidden margin on shipping.
No renders, no reshaping in retouch. What arrives in the box is what was on the screen, reflections and small flaws included.
Each model is gathered in small quantity, often as a single example. What sells out doesn't always come back, and we'd rather say so.
